How we work these figures out
  • They come from Davar's own records: the properties we have for sale, the homes buyers marked as interesting when they talked to us, the budgets in their requests, and the sales we recorded.
  • The usual price is the middle one: half of the homes ask less and half ask more. The dark part of the line holds the middle half of the homes.
  • A figure is shown only when enough homes stand behind it — 5 for sale, 5 people, 5 requests or 3 sales. Prices that are clearly mistyped are left out.
  • Land is compared by the price of each square metre; homes sold on instalments by their down payment. The arrows compare the same figure the page shows.
  • The figures update every night. Each quarter we publish an edition and compare with the one before.
